Steve Wendt has 25 years of health care provider and financing experience, including developing actionable inpatient and outpatient business intelligence, strategic management consulting, strategic capital planning, public data transparency, improving the cost and quality of care, developing incentive-based payment systems, creating accountable care organizations, and preparing providers for episode of care payment.

In addition to working with health care providers and payers, Mr. Wendt serves as a consultant to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Affairs' healthcare national insurance program, providing credit and bond covenant advice for the program's new applicants as well as work-out advice and strategies for the program's troubled credits.

Before joining Treo Solutions, Mr. Wendt was the Chief Financial Officer of the Illinois Health Facilities Authority and Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, where he specialized in tax-exempt health care finance.
